Method:
- Add oil and salt to maida and knead a soft dough while gradually adding water. Grease it with a little oil when done and leave it covered for 15-20mins.
- Divide the dough into equal balls, and dust it with some dry flour and roll it into a medium-sized chapati. chRepeat for all the balls.
- Take a chapati, put some oil on it and add the 2nd chapati on top of it and keep on adding to get 4 layers of chapati. Roll it into a thin disc and similarly prepare others with a group of 4 chapatis.
- Transfer it to a medium-hot tawa and cook it from both sides.
- Remove it from the tawa and separate all 4 sheets very carefully.
- To prepare the stuffing, add oil, jeera, garlic, ginger, followed by vegetables (depending on your choice) to a medium-hot cooking pot. Sprinkle soya sauce, vinegar and salt on top of it.
- Make a batter (maida+water) to seal the fillings inside the sheet and transfer it to medium hot oil and deep fry both sides for 1 min each.
- Place it on a tissue and spring rolls are ready to be served.
