Reliable Recipes: Eggless Waffles

Waffles – with their crispy outsides and brilliantly sized syrup holes – are a brunch staple – one that certainly can be taken as breakfast and dessert.

We all would love to have waffles, with creamy ice creams and chocolate syrup, especially kids! This recipe can make any kid’s day. Now let’s find out how to make it.




  • Refined flour (maida)
  • 1 ½ Cups
  • Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon
  • Yogurt
  • 1 cup
  • Milk
  • As required
  • Vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon
  • Chocolate chips
  • ½ Cup
  • Butter
  • For greasing
  • Red grapes
  • 3-4 large
  • Plums
  • 1-2 Pieces
  • Peach
  • 1 medium
  • Icing sugar
  • For Dusting
  • Maple syrup
  • For Drizzling
  • Powdered Sugar
  • ¾ Cups



  1. Sift the flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, and baking soda, dry ingredients, in a bowl.
  2. Add yogurt and mix it well. Add milk and whisk into a smooth batter.
  3. Add vanilla essence and mix well. Add chocolate chips (not compulsory) and mix well.
  4. Heat a waffle iron. Grease it with some butter, pour batter, cover, and cook till golden from both the sides.
  5. Halve grapes, slice plums, and peach.
  6. Place waffles on a serving platter along with various fruits. Dust some icing sugar and drizzle maple syrup on top. Serve immediately.
