With this belief, my primary responsibility is to train and empower teachers in the art and science of teaching. I am fortunate to have wonderful people as teachers on all our campuses.
As Director Education, I consider myself responsible for all learning and accountable for all students in their learning journey. My focus is to enable every student with approaches to learning and help them develop agency.
I worked across diverse geographies of India. When I joined Silver Oaks in 2005, my singular focus was on building character before competence. My conviction that character will make competence has been amply proved by my alumni who aced national boards or any competitive exams purely through agency.
At Silver Oaks, learning is not confined to textbooks. The world provides the canvas for learning. We blend the International Baccalaureate (IB) and CBSE systems — so our students gain both global relevance and local rootedness. Our approach blends national and international educational goals, fostering a culture of inquiry, empathy, and civic responsibility.
My lofty goals are realized through a sustainable curriculum developed within the school.
As an IB Workshop leader and Evaluation leader, I visit schools and train teachers globally. I take every opportunity to learn and bring back those lessons to my schools.
Education is not just about imparting knowledge; it's about shaping character and preparing students to be responsible global citizens. I am deeply committed to this mission and continue to strive towards creating learning environments that inspire and empower.
