To begin the admission process, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Virtual Interaction: A virtual meeting will be scheduled via Microsoft Teams to provide an overview of the school, its curriculum, and offerings, as well as to explain the admission process.
- Student Assessment: Following the interaction, an assessment will be sent to the child to evaluate academic readiness.
- Parent & Child Meeting: Once the assessment is completed, our Academic Coordinator will meet with both the child and parent for a general interaction.
- Admission Confirmation & Registration: Upon approval of the admission and confirmation from the parent, a registration amount of ₹50,000 is to be paid. This amount will be adjusted against the first fee installment and is used to block the seat.

Ms Anita Michael is an experienced and accomplished educator who has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a passion for educational administration. With over 12 years of teaching experience, Anita has developed a deep understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and student assessment. The proverb “the art of teaching is the skill of facilitating discovery” motivates her. Her vision for continuous improvement, coupled with her passion for creating an optimal learning environment, will ensure she makes a positive and lasting impact on all the stakeholders at Oakridge.

Teaching comes naturally to me and I enjoy being with children, committed to their academic excellence and holistic development while unveiling the treasure within the student. I have coordinated co-scholastic and scholastic activities at PYP, since 2013 at Oakridge International School, Bangalore. Focus on academic performance, striving for excellence and maintaining high standards of operation has been our collective priority. Maintaining an atmosphere of openness, confidentiality, and trust between and among all stakeholders: students, parents, teachers, and staff has been valuable too. I hold a Master’s degree in Science, from St. John’s College, Agra along with Bachelor’s in education from the prestigious Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow. Ms. Niji Varghese holds a master’s degree in computer science. Being a certified Google and Microsoft certified educator, has immensely enabled her in identifying and adopting technology-based solutions to classroom challenges. She has been continuously enriching her expertise in how ICT plays an integral role in the PYP classrooms by associating with several online EdTech platforms. Ms Niji has been a self-directed and goal-driven IB facilitator for 7 years at Oakridge, Bengaluru. Prior to pursuing her passion for teaching, she worked in a corporate for 8 years. She has traversed the teaching and learning continuum from being an ICT facilitator to a Home Room Teacher and evolved as an ardent practitioner of the IB Philosophy & its framework. She strongly believes technology plays a pivotal role in accelerating the learning process while empowering young digital natives to inquire, explore new knowledge, and demonstrate their learning in a wide range of creative & unique ways. Ms. Niji’s long association with Oakridge helps her to remain highly focused on delivering holistic education driven by the school’s vision and mission.
