The computer lab of our school is equipped with Multimedia Systems, LCD monitors, Supervised, Fast Internet Connection round the clock, online UPS for system back up and Networking environment. A vast collection of educational softwares, catering to various subjects for the use of teachers and the students. The exposures provided to the learners is maximized by the use of computers with broadband e-connectivity & Wi-Fi which facilitated learning process. Our lab is equipped with 25 computers. Each child has his / her own workstation to practise.

Smart classes are an integral part of NPS. Quality education is an essential requisite in today’s competitive environment. The Smart Class is a modernized method of providing quality education to students by helping them in better concept formation, concept elaboration, and improvement in academic achievements. The objective is to make the teaching-learning process more effective and amazing.

Our students get a virtual experience of experiments on the Educomp smart board and the crocodile physics which they thoroughly enjoy. Although the front of the room is fitted with blackboards and Educomp Smart board and a large demonstration table, the students spend most of their time at their lab tables performing their own experiments. There’s a computer in the lab for the students to reach for data collection and analysis. There is ample space in the middle of the room for large scale experiments. The lab is very well equipped with instruments, like- meter bridges, battery eliminators, potentiometers, Hooke’s apparatus, etc. One can also observe the resonance condition that so often proves attractive and interactive. The pin-boards on each wall are decorated with very suitable charts, maps, illustrations and quotes and at the same time various models, made by the students, are exhibited all around the lab. One just cannot resist loving both the lab and the subject as the aura of Physics seems to besiege the invader.

Our chemistry lab is well equipped with chemicals and other apparatus to cater to the needs of all the students up to class 12. Students start using the chemistry lab from class 6 onwards. They show great enthusiasm in using chemicals and perform hands on experiments. The virtual lab also provides animations of chemical reactions at the molecular level. The lab has an excellent safety system with fire extinguishers and a shower cum eye washer equipment. The lab inculcates curiosity and inquisitiveness in students. It plays a very important role in developing a scientific temperament in our students.

The laboratory provides the students with all sorts of facilities, ranging from specimens to innovative smart boards. The laboratory is quite spacious and is creatively decorated by the students. We have permanent anatomical slides of plants. The lab consists of simple and compound microscopes for the students to focus and study slides. The ratio of these microscopes per student is fairly high. We have measuring devices, like analytical balance. Also the laboratory has a variety of apparatus for physiological and ecological experiments, like water bath, oven and Digital PH Meter. We have fire extinguishers in case of an emergency. The laboratory is well supplied with chemicals, and equipped abundantly with thermometers and other apparatus for students to carry out their experiments. A geography laboratory may be defined as a room which has all written, audio and visual materials pertinent to geographic instruction. Geography lab plays a pivotal role in enriching geographical base of a student- a necessary part of learning that exposes students to full spectrum of disciplinary subfields- physical, human and nature-society geography as well as geographical techniques. The lab is well equipped with a series of maps, topographic sheets and variety of survey equipments like tracing table, thermometers, barometer, magnetic compass, electric globe, anemometer, wind wane, standard time indicator and wet and dry bulb thermometers. CDs related to different topics are also kept in the lab. Field trips are organised for the students to study the natural occupancy of various facts and inform about physical changes with the help of Global positioning system and Geographic information system available on Net. To develop a discerning eye, students observe dance performance and share impressions, ideas, and context cues from movements observed.

A fully equipped State-of-the-art Language Lab is there for the students to understand the nuances of the language. The Language Lab will help the students to understand the language in all the aspects mainly phonetics, diction and pronunciation etc. Language Lab software is a classroom based solution which will be installed on the computer in classroom and the content can be accessible in the respective classroom system. English Language becomes the default option for communication as it is spoken and understood across the global. Hence making it a good companion for travel enthusiasts. While proficient English-speaking skills appeals your resume and it can boost hiring potential. A state-of-the-art Math Lab equips the 21st century learners with activity based learning and creates a challenging atmosphere for students to hone their mathematical skills. A variety of modern and colourful apparatus help in making teaching and learning of the subject interactive, fun filled and joyful. Learning of mathematical concepts through concrete materials, hands-on-experiences and real life situations help to enhance analytical and critical thinking of the learners.
