In 2004, KALS was set up by Mr. Datha Karaumbiah and Mrs. Ashwini Nachappa, to widen the scope of education, integrating Sports into the curriculum and give Sports as much importance as Academics bringing it back into the mainstream of education. At KALS we believe that the benefits of playing sport is key to the child’s physical and psychological health and therefore Physical coordination precedes and lays the foundation for cognitive coordination. The wholesome integration of body and mind of a child through a learning environment built on Nature and Nurture.KALS is a total school experience from Montessori to Grade XII. Affiliated to CISCE, New Delhi and offers ICSE / ISC syllabus , KALS is equipped and aligned with the mission and vision of the National Education Policy. At Grade IX students opt for Science or Commerce stream, focusing on the chosen stream up to Grade XII.Integrated into our curriculum is sport, which is given high priority for the development of our children. We go beyond the traditional physical education (PE) and help a child develop their innate physical potential through sport.
