All the classrooms are air-conditioned and each of our classrooms is a smart class which is IT-enabled for audio-visual learning with an overhead projector, magnifying camera device and smart boards. JMIS believes in arousing a child’s curiosity and interest towards learning. Use of Audio Visuals during lessons brings greater clarity and comprehension of concepts and helps children to assimilate and understand better, thereby making the lessons more interactive and enriching. The children always look forward to such lessons and sharing of information as visual stimulation always has a more lasting impression.

The campus lays claim to a well stocked Learning Resource Centre for students and educators. It has a variety of resources including e-library including international & national magazines & journals covering varied topics and stocks CDs/ DVDs with subject related content. The furniture and other facilities are designed aesthatically as per the age group of students. Educators use the library to supplement their teaching lessons with facts and references from around the world; parents are welcome to access the resources on parenting and other relevant topics. DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) project which is embedded with the school curriculum, encourages learning beyond classroom.

In the contemporary world, a computer is indeed the most powerful tool of learning and to help our students not only access but successfully navigate the learning resources made available by modern technology, ICT driven learning is a must. In school we have a fully equipped ICT Lab and each student is allocated hands on time; the IT curriculum dovetails with the curriculum across academic disciplines for each grade. This seeks not only to develop subject knowledge, but also to develop skills related to finding, processing, analyzing and presenting ideas/ information.

INFIRMARY FOR MEDICAL AID An essential feature of every school, a medical room, well equipped to handle emergencies is also available on campus. The limited medical facility is available to the students during school hours. The school also has a tie-up with a neighborhood hospital for enhanced medical facilities in case of need. Medical Records are maintained for each student and an Annual Medical Examination is conducted by the school for students, with parents being sent a report for follow up action.

TRANSPORT (Air-Conditioned) JMIS has an elegant, air-conditioned & GPS enabled fleet of buses with the best of safety arrangements available for neighboring areas. The parent can have the facility to track the school bus via the school bus tracking app. The School provides a safe and secure bus facility to students who wish to avail of this facility. Well, trained attendants/ escorts are accompanied in all the school buses with the students to ensure their safety, as well as a helper who monitors the boarding/ debarking of buses by students. Each bus is equipped with a first aid kit to cope with medical emergencies.

CAFETERIA The school has a well-equipped cafeteria to provide healthy nutritious food and snacks, juices, and other beverages to children and staff members in a clean and hygienic environment. The menu is meticulously planned and changes daily for variety in tastes and preferences of the students of all ages.
