Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math, situated in the State of Karnataka, is a Socio-Spiritual Centre, which has the history of 1,800 years to its credit. It has the holy lineage of Spiritual Masters which was initiated by Lord Shiva at the end of his deep penance.

After His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Padmabhushan Dr. Balagangadharanatha assumed the religious throne, he started working towards the society in various fields like Education, Healthcare, Environment, Social, Moral and Cultural activities apart from the Spiritual activities.

Apart from teaching spirituality, Sri Math is set out to uplift the rural community through education and healthcare programs – the two most pressing needs of society. Over the years the Math has contributed significantly to society through Spiritual, Educational, Health Care, Environmental, Social, Moral & Cultural Activities. To this day its efforts are focused towards propagating education, research and service to humanity at large.

Our Mission

The word "Vijnatham" is an amalgamation of three words – Science, Knowledge and Technology. Our mission is to educate every student into cohesive learning paradigm by gaining knowledge in the field of science and technology. We aim to render service to the society in the light of wisdom for the betterment of mankind and all beings.
