Guru TeghBahadur School, Model Town, has consistently excelled in co-curricular activities, proving itself to be a leading institution in nurturing young talent. The school's achievements in different spheres fully substantiate the provisions for the all round development of the students. In terms of sports, the school has represented a huge volume of success starting with a number of successes in different disciplines. In the zonal competition, our students reached 3rd place in Yoga, and also at the State level in Volleyball (Sub-Junior) and Skating (U-17), and up to the National level in Skating (U-14). More successes comprise of several podium finishes in inter-zone competitions with the U-17 Boys Volleyball Team finishing in the 3rd position, U-19 Boys Volleyball in 3rd place in zone 9 competitions, and U-19 Boys Kho-Kho in 3rd place in their respective zones. The Throwball team did equally well with U-17 boys emerging in 2nd place and U-14 girls finishing in 2nd place. The schools outstanding performance in yoga is equally on par with other achievements with U-19 basketball rhythmic yoga finishing in 3rd position and U-17 Boys artistic yoga and U-19 Boys yoga finishing in 3rd positions. This achievement showcases that Guru TeghBahadur School is a place of excellence not only in academics but also in producing talent in various co-curricular arenas.The long stride of sustained success surely is testimony to the commitment, initiative, and competence of the students, and that of the highly devoted faculty.
