The multi-purpose air-conditioned auditorium is the hub center of all important activities of the school with the seating capacity of approximately 300 students. The state of the art acoustics , a very spacious stage and convenient green rooms make it possible for the teachers and students to venture into newer forays by putting up some of the best in-house productions in Bengali, Hindi and English, organize various inter school and zonal competitions, dramatic plays, concert performances, workshops and conferences, to name just a few. Thus the auditorium caters to the multi-dimensional approach to learning.

At DWPS BARASAT, we believe that Sports play an important role in the life of a child. The qualities of leadership, teamwork and sporting spirit are taught on the sports field. Therefore, every child at a Delhi World Public School is encouraged to take up a sport, being given a vast choice including Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess and much more. Our sporting facilities are for both indoor and outdoor sports and include 360° running track, swimming pool, cricket pitch, cricket nets, football ground, basketball, badminton and volley ball courts. In addition to Physical Education teachers, the school also provides professional coaches. The sports teachers do the ‘talent spotting’ to encourage children to take up the sport that most suits their interests and skills.

Our well-equipped Science lab helps students to directly perform experiments, collect data, observe, analyze and interpret. They get a firsthand learning experience understanding different scientific theories and concepts.The computer lab is well resourced with high-speed central servers and educational software (with adequate security and safety features).The EVS lab is equipped with maps, globe, artifacts and specimen to promote learning of theoretical concepts. It also encourages activities like role playing, visualization, problem solving and group discussions.

DWPS Barasat system is aimed at developing confident, well rounded students with capabilities and the spirit to reach for the stars. The curriculum provides a rich variety of co-curricular activities, which we consider not extra but an ESSENTIAL part of a child’s education. These include Indian Dance, Western Dance, Indian Music, Western Music, Yoga, Martial Arts, Drama, Debating, Elocution, Art, Abacus, Weaving, Pottery, Handmade Paper Making, Carpentry, amongst many others. From time to time experts will provide valuable inputs from their various fields.
