Bholananda National Vidyalaya was founded by Late Swami Jyotirmoyananda Giri Maharaj, Secretary of Sree Guru Bholananda Ashram, Monirampur, Barrackpore, West Bengal in the year 1978. It is situated at a very convenient historical place well connected by roadways and water ways on Barrack Road in between Barrackpore railway station and Barrackpore court. It is a Senior Secondary Co-Educational composite school from classes I to XII, English medium, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (School no. 08402-Old & 15557-New).
