Deepalaya was founded on July 16, 1979, with five children, two teachers and 17,500 rupees/investments from visionaries from seven like-minded founding members. At that time, preschool education had just begun. Since then, Deepalaya School has made great progress. Deepalaya is the "House of Light", Delhi's largest non-governmental organization, providing services to economically marginalized children, their families and communities in Delhi and some rural areas in Haryana and Uttarakhand. Provide quality education and training. Deepalaya has established 337 formal and non-formal education centers. It has four regular schools in Delhi, one in Haryana and one in Uttar Pradesh. DSKE is one of them.
