AL Marif English School

Al-Ma’rif English School is an Islamic school which provides Education for this world and the Hereafter. Islam has taught its followers to seek all ‘beneficial knowledge.’ Our aim is to provide both Islamic and worldly academic knowledge to our students. The goal for which we strive is to nurture children of upright character and high academic caliber who will be Muslims in the truest sense of the word In-sha-Allah. Education in the context of Islam is regarded as a process that involves the complete person, including the rational, spiritual, and social dimensions. In the Islamic educational theory knowledge is gained in order to actualize and perfect all dimensions of the human being. From an Islamic perspective the highest and most useful model of perfection is Prophet Muhammad (May Peace be upon him), and the goal of Islamic education is that people be able to live as he lived. While education does prepare humankind for happiness in this life, “its ultimate goal is Jannah and all education points to it”. The Islamic belief of accountability and recompensation in the Life after Death is needed for developing love, kindness, compassion, selflessness and good morals.
