There is no official government-run Sainik School in Hyderabad, but students from Hyderabad can apply to other recognized Sainik Schools across India through a common admission process. Admission to all government Sainik Schools is conducted via the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE), which is held annually, usually in January.
