On Thursday, underlining the important role of youth in nation-building, said that the engineering graduates will be trained in all 4500 bodies of the country and about one crore students will be trained in two-three years. Dr. Nishank said this with Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri while launching the National Education Alliance for Technology Scheme here. He said that this scheme is being launched under the mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, because the youth of our country have a very big role in nation-building. He said that at present there are 8 million engineering students in the country. In the scheme being launched in collaboration with All India Council of Technical Education and Ministry of Urban Development, the graduate-level students will undertake internship work and undergo training in the cleanliness campaign and other creative programs.

He hoped that this year about 25000 students will do internships and in one to three years only one crore students will avail of this scheme. He said that in lockdown, students in IITs, IIMs and NITs, etc. worked hard in laboratories and made PPE kits, ventilators, sanitizer machines, and masks, etc. He said that now there are so many facilities in our country, students do not need to go abroad to study.
