The state education department of Gujarat has issued a notice against nearly 10 schools in the state that violated the directives of the government ordering the private schools to not hike fees during the pandemic.

“After receiving complaints against schools charging hiked fees from parents, I had talked to respective district education officers and district primary education officers. Notices have been issued to these 10 schools. Whenever we received a complaint, it has been resolved and we will continue doing this against schools violating this,” said Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.
