Funds released for 3 Delhi University colleges

The amounts were free in compliance with the court’s direction last week wherever it fastened a point of November nine for the government to pay out the unfinished dues to four Old Delhi University faculties, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar faculty, Bhagini Nivedita faculty, Aditi Mahavidyalaya Women's faculty, and martyr Sukhdev faculty of Business Studies so that they will pay salaries of their workers.

However, the government submitted to the court that Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar faculty wasn't given funds because it had already been given Rs 12.89 crores in the position of the primary 2 quarters as against a total of Rs 11.5 crores.
The government’s stand before a bench of justices Hima Kohli and Subramonium Prasad was opposed by the faculty, that said, within the last twelvemonth, no cash was free within the second quarter and an additive quantity of Rs 10 crores was free thereto within the third quarter.

With the direction, the court listed the matter for an additional hearing on December sixteen. Advocate Ashok Agarwal, representing the lecturers, had earlier told the court that the four faculties haven't paid salaries to their workers for June, July, and August.
