Principal
An economics, education and sociology postgraduate, Rumjhumi Biswas, brings with her 25 years of experience in teaching children and mentoring teachers. Ms. Biswas has led Swarnim International School to be accredited with the International School Award 2018-21 by the British Council in the 2 nd year of its inception and also for the period 2022-25. She has been a Cambridge English Language Speaking Examiner for 20 years and has completed the professional development program on Multiple Intelligences from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Ms. Biswas is a 4 time Centa Teaching Professionals Olympiad winner and has also won the prestigious Reliance Foundation Teacher Award. She has been awarded the Certificate of Teaching Excellence by University of Buckingham, UK. As a passionate teacher and a lifelong learner she aspires to translate her varied experience to make a difference in the world of children's education with a paradigm shift from teaching to learning. Ms. Biswas firmly believes that children learn best when they are happy; and they are happy when the environment is learner centric.

- A month’s notice must be mailed at admin@siskol.edu.in before withdrawing a child from the school or a quarter’s fees must be paid in lieu of notice. Otherwise, the Caution Deposit will not be refunded.
- A Transfer certificate (T.C) application form must be signed by both parents/official guardians and submitted to school. No Transfer certificate (T.C) application will be entertained during vacations (Summer, Puja, Winter).
- This form is available at the school office and on the website. (Telephone/E-mail messages are NOT acceptable)
- For the refund of caution deposit, original documents issued at the time of admission will have to be produced as evidence of payment to the school office. If the original documents have been misplaced, an affidavit from a Notary will be required on a stamp paper stating the same.
- A Transfer Certificates will be issued after all the dues of the school are settled.
- A minimum period of 15 days after the last day of attendance at school will be required to issue the Transfer Certificate and refund of security deposit, provided all dues are paid.
- Refund of Caution deposit (Refundable) must be claimed within a year of the date of withdrawal of the child from the school.
- Once paid, fee is non-transferable/non-adjustable/non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The School reserves the right to modify and amend the refund policies at any time.

Good and progressive school. I have noticed that the teachers here always try to maintain a friendliness with the students to help them better. The infrastructure is also well-maintained and students get to take part in a lot of activities.
