Academic and All-Rounder Scholarships: Eligibility & Details
Academic Scholarships are available for the following grade levels:
- Grade 9 – Age 14 on entry Grade 11 – Age 16 on entry
All-Rounder Scholarships are awarded at the following academic levels:
- Grade 6 – Age 11 on entry
- Grade 8 – Age 13 on entry
- Grade 9 – Age 14 on entry
- Grade 11 – Age 16 on entry
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
- Students applying for admission in August 2025 may submit applications for the scholarship program.
- Those receiving All-Rounder Scholarships will demonstrate excellence in both academia and an extra-curricular activity (including sport, music or drama).
- Current Harrow students are eligible solely for Honorary Scholarships.
Award Process
- Scholarships are awarded through open competition at the levels set by the institution and are non-negotiable.
- All scholarships are granted at the discretion of the Head of School.
- The number of scholarships may vary annually based on the quality of applicants.
Steps for Availing Scholarships
- Complete the Regular Application Process
- Submit the online application form Pay Rs. 12,000/-
- Complete the Harrow Test online and Interview with the Head Master
- Apply for Scholarship - Submit an intent for scholarship through the Scholarship Application (in Stage 5)
- Attend a written scholarship assessment based on English and Math, in person (for all Bengaluru candidates) or online (for outstation candidates)
- Submit, to the Harrow Bengaluru Admissions office, academic scores and reports from the past two years, as well as certifications for extraordinary talent, prizes or competition successes.
- Attend an interview with the Scholarship Committee and Head Master.
- Results will be announced via email two weeks after the scholarship test.
Key Dates
- Last date for applications: 31 January 2025
- Scholarship exam date (on-campus for Bengaluru and outstation candidates): Monday 6 February 2025 at 10AM
- Ongoing Evaluation Scholarships are subject to termly performance evaluations to ensure that recipients meet the standards expected of them.
- Scholarships may be rescinded if the student fails to maintain the required criteria.
