n the year 1989, Mr. P. P. Chhabria, Chairman of Finolex group of companies sponsored the school and the school was named as Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Chhabria Nursery School. The school caters education to all students, irrespective of caste and creed. The school has children coming from a cross section of society mainly from the neighbourhood. Due to overwhelming response the school started functioning in two shifts from the year 2014. The curriculum is designed considering child’s age, attention span and development level. The curriculum is Activity based and the teachers work in small groups with the children. Our school cares for the individual development of each and every student. We accord prime importance to the behaviour, discipline, moral integrity and cognitive developments of our students. Our teachers strive to teach not only academic programmes but also life skills needed for students’ self-development with highly resourceful faculty. These experiences help children to conceptualize better and also helps to develop language and thinking skills. We go by the Play way method of teaching where not only product but also the process of learning is given equal importance. The children from the Nursery school are automatically promoted to the Bhavan’s Sulochana Natu Vidya Mandir in the same campus which has classes up to Std X. The school is affiliated to the S.S.C. Board of Govt. of Maharashtra.
