Eggless Whole Wheat Banana Bread


You’ll be happy to see that this recipe only calls for very simple and basic ingredients. It is also pretty easy to whip up and the result? Delicious! You can never have enough of it, right?




Whole wheat flour

2 cups

Baking powder

1 tsp

Baking soda

½ tsp

Cinnamon powder

1 tsp

Softened butter/ Olive Oil

½ cup

Powdered Jaggery/ Sugar

⅓ cup

Ripe Bananas


Vanilla Essence

1 tsp


½ cup

Mixed nuts of your choice

¼ cup


How to make Eggless Whole Wheat Banana Bread?

  1. Preheat oven to 180 Celsius,

  2. In a bowl, combine your dry ingredients- flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and mix well.
  3. In a large bowl, add butter/oil and powdered jaggery/sugar. Whisk them both to get a creamy texture.
  4. Mix the bananas into the butter mix. Add the milk and mix well.
  5. As the batter looks curdled. Add the dry ingredients and fold them in.
  6. Add the of your choice.
  7. Shift your batter into a greased tin.
  8. Bake your bread for 45-50 minutes until the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Your Eggless Whole Wheat Banana Bread is ready!
