Everybody Loves Pancakes! I haven’t met a single person who does not like pancakes. Not as breakfast, sure, but everybody around me loves pancakes and so do I! These pancakes are a perfect Sunday breakfast. And the best part is, even if you use healthier alternatives, they will still taste like a bomb!

INGREDIENTS

HEALTHY ALTERNATIVES

QUANTITY

Maida

Whole wheat flour (Atta)

1¾ Cup

Milk

 

1½ Cup  

White Vinegar

Lemon Juice

1 tbsp.

Baking Powder

 

1 tsp.

Baking soda

 

½ tsp.

Powdered Sugar

Jaggery Powder/ Honey

¼ Cup

Hot Water

 

1/3 Cup

Oil/ Melted Butter

 

¼ Cup

 

Method:-

  1. In a bowl, add milk and vinegar to make buttermilk. Rest for 5 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, add maida, baking powder, and baking soda. Add sugar and mix until nicely combined.
  3. Add the milk mixture into the dry ingredients,
  4. Add in the hot water and vegetable oil.
  5. Give everything a good mix to gain a nice pancake batter.
  6. On a non-stick pan, add vegetable oil and add about ¼ cup of the batter. Let the pancakes cook slowly. When you see bubbles, flip the pancakes carefully.
  7. Serve your pancakes with any seasonal fruit of your choice or simply chocolate sauce.
