Tips to make your child study independently

Parents need to participate in kids' studies. Some even help their child with homework, projects and social skills. While this is important, as per the new study, much involvement will only decline the child’s development. There are cases where parents not only involve themselves but also criticize their child when he performs badly. In the end, this will result in the kid being more anxious and no positive growth.

• Put more faith in your child and let him you believe in his abilities. Let him work out the challenges in life.
• Ask your child about his needs. Discuss his trouble and let him seek help. In this way, he will know where he is heading.
• Appreciate your child’s efforts and progress. Don’t overlook their efforts while only looking at the results.
• Let him take initiatives and also create such opportunities. You can start by letting him pick clothes.
• Lastly, like adults need space for work, kids also need space to study. Provide them with their space and keep out of the way
