It has been a long time, almost a year, since the schools were shut down around the entire nation due to the pandemic. And while most of the states have recommended the functionality of schools and colleges, Delhi has not completely made it operational due to the rising numbers of Covid affected.

The Delhi government has not been in favour of reopening schools completely as the pandemic was still looking large. However, the government recently allowed students of classes 10 and 12 to recommence their offline classes as board exams are approaching. Classes 9 and 11 are also resuming classes from February 5th. But, there were still speculations regarding reopening of school for the younger classes.

CM Arvind Kejriwal has finally made the government's stance a little clear on this topic this evening. As he sphinted on his Twitter handle, CM Kejriwal mentioned that offline classes for the Delhi schools will resume soon, and so will the enrollment process for the new Nursery admissions. "Children want to go back to schools and colleges but parents & teachers are worried. Since vaccines are here, we hope we will be able to open schools soon," the CM tweeted.
