Deputy CM Sisodia Urges Delhi Private Schools to Incorporate Govt.’s Flagship Programmes

In a meeting held at the Thygraj Stadium on Monday, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia interacted with several principals and teachers of private schools in Delhi. In this meeting, Sisodia appealed to the principals of private schools to consider the incorporation of the government’s flagship programmes in their curriculums. The meeting involved around 1500 principals and teachers of private schools in Delhi. 

The meeting was held to discuss the importance of mindset curriculums and their implementation in schools across Delhi. The Deputy CM mentioned that to date, no such notable work has been done in terms of developing the mindset of children in the country. He mentioned that it is often believed that the mindset of children are influenced by the family and society, without the education system having any role to play in the process. As a result, the Deputy CM mentioned, “there is no guarantee about their attitude, thinking and approach”.

Incorporating the government’s flagship programmes such as the mindset curriculum, as the Deputy CM points out, will revolutionise education and create a developed nation. He also mentioned that education that does not involve the development of mindset is an incomplete education.
