Ancient Philosophy To Be Soon Introduced In Liberal Arts Courses

The Indian Government is considering to introduce ancient philosophy in its liberal arts courses.

“These rich legacies to world heritage must not only be nurtured and preserved for prosperity but also enhanced and put to new uses through our education system,” the ministry noted.

According to the government, this will help in educating people for life and not just for schooling purpose. This policy was a part of BJP government’s 2014 agenda and is now under implementation.
