Suburban Educational Society is the parent body of St. Xavier’s Institution. The main aim of the Society is to impart holistic education to the students and thereby make the institution reach the pinnacle of glory.
Suburban Educational Society has several other social activities . The Society not only cares for its students and staff but also thinks itself responsible for the development of the society as a whole. Suburban Educational Society provides aid to the students of other schools of the locality. The Society helps local students from economically challenged families by providing them text books and exercise books. Society extends similar help to the students who pursue different courses of colleges, universities and technical / colleges. This way Suburban Educational Society tries to be a useful partner to prosperity of the students from economically challenged families of the locality.
The Society provides medical aid to the local and needy people. The Society aids students affected by natural calamities. The Institution was founded on 1st July, 1967. It is a co-educational English Medium School upto Class-XII recognized by the Education Department, Govt, of West Bengal and affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.
The school admits children of all castes, creed and religion and imparts integrated Education to them through the medium of English.
