Phase -2, Sector-23, Buddh Vihar, North West Delhi, Delhi - 110086
Prince Public School, Budh Vihar is an integral co-educational independent school recognized by the Directorate of Education, Delhi, with affiliation to CBSE, offering education from Preschool to XII. It was founded on 5th January 1987 with a vision of “Learn for Life”.
Budh Vihar where the school stands tall today was devoid of effective schools with convenient infrastructure and good teachers. Children of this area were deprived of systematic and structured education. It was then that Founder Principal, Mrs. Kamlesh Solanki and Chairman Mr Rajinder Singh foresaw an opportunity and yearned to etch a concept of model school that would answer the fundamental questions that had come to haunt the life there. Best CBSE School in Delhi was established as a humble attempt to quell the thirst for appropriate and qualitative education at a competent cost for the children. The initial modest beginning with a minimalistic strength of 80 students witnessed many challenges and hiccups right from day one. However the unfazed and determinative zeal of the founders finally gave way to a sprawling school accommodating 1700 students today.
The school has been striving sincerely towards addressing the modern day concerns hounding the impressionable mind and anxiety of the parent concerning their dear ward. The journey continues today too with the same gusto and piquancy to make the school a centre for generating excellence, inculcating humaneness and spearheading education beyond books that shall eventually shape boys and girls into well rounded individuals.
We at PPS have been striving to promote exploratory nature of learning keeping in tandem to the 5 C’s [curiosity, competence, communication, compassion and conviction] that shall eventually create an atmosphere of intuitive learning and help the child to invade upon his or her innate ability. The boundaries have been extended to beyond classroom wherein sports too are promoted with the same keenness and passion. Journey at prince does not end here - the quest to fuel humanness in human continues - students are nurtured to go beyond the conventional education inculcating in them the values of integrity and the ability to distinguish the appropriate from inappropriate.
The school has witnessed the essence of holistic education and has had a paradigm shift from solely academics to overall development of a personality. As has been rightly said by Lon Watte - “School is a building which has four walls with tomorrow inside”.
