The school has its very own fleet of vehicles which is opted by many students for their daily commuting between home and school. The school charges a nominal transportation fee for this optional service. Each vehicle is assigned an expert driver and an helper to ensure a smooth and safe ride for students.

New Rainbow Public School vaunts an intricately designed Biology Laboratory planned to meet the demands of the advancement in science and technology. The marble worktops are heat resistant and storage cabinets are easily accessible. The laboratory apparatus ranges from simple slides, test-tube, petridishes to the composite microscopes of varying powers to observe samples and organisms closely. They are high-powered, extremely expensive, and sensitive pieces of equipments that can make even the smallest part of a single cell seem clear. The school has a well equipped and a spacious library of more than 1100 sq ft. with more than 5000 books and reference books for both students and teachers. The school has also subscribed to multiple magazines and news papers to keep the students up to date with current affair and keep their interests level high.

The school understands the importance of Information Technology in today’s world and has built a state of art and well designed LAN enabled computer lab. The computer lab is equipped with mutiple switches and has a broadband line of 10 mbps serving the students and staff of the school. All students above class III undergo mandatory computer classes.

NRPS is well-equipped with maths lab, a fun filled activity space for the pupils. Maths is an essential part of our lives. To impart the students in apprehending certain abstract concepts and to transform this basic subject into an interesting learning experience; it is important that it should be brought to concrete operational level where pupils can check and verify the validity of the concepts through activities. Maths lab is all about gaining knowledge, understanding mathematical concepts, using interactive tools and so on. It’s a place where anybody can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. The materials are meant to be used by the pupils to understand mathematical concepts clearly. Students enter in maths lab to understand, learn, experience and also to explore. The activities generate curiosity and interest in among students.

The avant-garde Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. The laboratory is furnished with latest hi-tech interactive smart boards for a virtual real life learning experience. The Lab is provided with the state- of- the art devices like- Fume hood, Distillation unit, Electronic weighing machine, Bunsen burners, beakers and flasks. Concealed gas line and the safety devices such as Firefighting equipment, First- Aid Kit etc. The acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate locked cupboards as a further precautionary measure. The students are provided with separate workstations with individual burners and plug points. The apparatus includes the common place strikers, mortar and pestle, clay triangles, watch glasses, crucibles, crucible tongs, chemical spoon, stirring rods, filter funnels and a variety of stoppers.

New Rainbow Public School is proud to have a sophisticated Physics Laboratory with the latest state-of-the art facilities that equip the students to have hands on experience. The Flat-topped tables used as student workstations allow multiple arrangements and combinations for laboratory work and small-group activities. The equipment ranges from the commonly found lens, magnet, beam balance, spring balance, glass prism to the advanced apparatus like voltmeter, ammeter and resistors and spectrometers to name a few. The laboratory is also equipped with an Interactive board and an LCD projector that allows the teachers to incorporate the latest technology in their lessons to arouse the interest and curiosity of the students.

NRPS promotes and motivates individual talents and group work. We discover, encourage and sustain the creativity of our pupils and help them think with ingenuity. Art and craft are the best instruments for creative envisaging. This subject introduces pupils to a range of abstract and empirical skills as well as helps them to learn the use of deferent tool, materials and machines. It gives students an opportunity to think imaginatively and creatively and even boost their morale in other subjects too. We have designed the core curriculum is widely and it is not confined to the classroom only. We have separate music room and well trained music teacher. Music gives students an opportunity for recreation, relaxation and a release from the strict academic schedule. Music education plays an important role in a child’s overall development mentally, socially, and emotionally. "Your children need to know they are loved and safe. Everything else is adult businesses". Keeping this in mind NRPS has initiated Self Defence Training for students. The session comprised a series of basic useful skills of self-defence and some tips and tricks for ready combat in case of emergency. In this programme students learn Karate and Martial Arts. The self-defence course is designed to make our pupils more aware, prepared, and ready for any situation that may occur in their everyday life.

NRPS is committed to make the students all-rounder and buoyant individuals where sports and physical activities occupy a very significant place. Sports and outdoor activities nourish a child’s thinking capacity and help to improve physical strength. More so, sports also teach students the value of humility. One of the best attitudes that will be developed in joining team sports is teamwork. At this school, we encourage teamwork. It helps prepare students for the world out of school, after their formal education. The school offers various sports and games which students play, guided by their sports coaches, regularly. Students participate in Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Football, athletics, as well and show exemplary performance in inter school competitions, to carve a niche for themselves and winning championships year after year.
