All our cultural events, seminars, workshops and conferences are held in Malay Manch, a state-of-the-art air-conditioned auditorium which can accommodate an audience of up to 700. It comes with green rooms, high quality sound, light and ICT equipment. This facility plays a major role in our efforts to impart life-skill training to our students, and in taking learning beyond textbooks and classrooms.

The school has a canteen where healthy snacks are available for the students. Only coupon, and not money, transactions are allowed. We believe a healthy body can exist only in concert with a healthy mind. Lunch constitutes an important meal of the day. At MCKV, we have the practice of providing complimentary lunch to all the members of the staff. We have a comfortable and well- appointed staff lunch room.

Well – equipped and modern laboratories have been set up for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All these three laboratories are fitted out with state-of- the- art apparatuses and instruments.

The Central Library provides students with a well-stocked and exciting centre for independent work and research. The library is divided into four corners - one each for Primary, Middle School, Senior School, and staff, for their reference study work. There are more than 15000 books in addition to a large collection of audio and video material. Boys are encouraged to develop the habit of quiet reading and also browsing through the whole range of library resources. There is ample choice in dictionaries and encyclopedias. Other than academic subjects, we have books on Astrology, Health, Education, Psychology, Sports & Games and Religion. There is also a sizable collection of biographies so that students can draw inspiration from great lives. Magazines like Sanctuary, Digit, Time, The Week, Wisdom, Readers Digest, Competition success, Education World, National Geographic, Discover, to name a few, are subscribed regularly. Newspapers such as The Telegraph, The Economic Times, The Statesman, The Times of India, and Sanmarg are read enthusiastically by staff.

Back in the day, when digitally enabled classrooms were a lesser known reality, MCKV introduced the path-breaking concept of smart class rooms. It was among the first schools in the entire Howrah region to introduce technology right next to the black board. Smart Classes not only help students learn difficult and abstract concepts watching highly engaging visuals and animations, but also, they can actually see the entire world unfolding before their eyes right in the classrooms. The topics become vibrant with graphics and animation, enlivening and consolidation the knowledge acquired from the textbook. This makes learning an enjoyable experience for our students while improving their overall academic performances. The smart class rooms are additionally equipped with interactive boards, projectors and other audio-visual aids. Our smart classes have been one of the major tools which helped us impart world class education to our students.
