ADMISSION PROCEDURE :-
• Nursery, Higher Nursery & KG are pre-primary classes. Age-wise it is admissible, 3+ years for Nursery, 4+ years for Higher Nursery and 5+ years for KG.
• Admission to Pre-Primary Classes are made on first-cum-first serve basis by interview only.
• Class I to VIII admission is made strictly on merit.
• In Class IX, only meritorious and deserving candidates are admitted.
• Scholarship is given to deserving students on merit.
• Special admission facilities for meritorious students.
• No Donation, No Capitation Fees for Admissions.
• No bias to class, caste, creed, gender and socio-economic considerations during admission of a student in the school.
• Students of Maria's Day School appearing in ICSE, are given first preference for admission in Class XI (ISC). Admission in Science stream is done strictly on merit.
• All Admissions in XI is provisional, unless ratified by the Council.
• Change of stream or subjects is exclusively the right of the School Management on the basis of merit.
• Students shall have flexible choice of subjects for Science and Commerce.
• However, for lack of students in a subject, the School Management possesses sole right of dropping the subject.
• Students failing / performing poorly in a subject, shall have no right to take the subject / stream in ISC (Class XI).

Estd. in 1982. The School is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) New Delhi for ICSE ( Xth Std.) and ISC ( XIIth Std) for Science, Arts, and Commerce streams. It is a complete co-educational, English Medium School from Nursery to Class XII. Situated at the heart of Howrah City at Howrah Maidan, a few steps away from the proposed Metro Railway Station and within 1 k.m. of walking distance from Howrah Railway Station.
The school with more than 3500 students in enrollment, is run by the Giribala Memorial Trust. The school session is from April to March.
The admission form for the next session is available from the month of November each year. Students of Maria’s Day School are exempted from the admission procedure in class XI. They are promoted to class XI and offered a stream provisionally on the basis of the previous examinations. Final admission to any student in class XI is offered only after publication of the Council’s result and after due approval from the Council for eligibility.
The standard of performance in ICSE/ISC is good and in comparison to the best in the country. The number of students scoring above 90% and qualified in competitive examinations is a matter of great achievement in this school.
The school library and laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science are highly equipped and of research standard.
We also have a digital library with studio based eLearning and conduct regular online class through the Microsoft Teams & MyLeading Campus
