The way a potter produces a flawless pitcher from raw, loose mud, delicately supporting it from inside on a rotating wheel, removing deformities by striking mildly to ensure that the end product is PERFECT, similarly school is an institution which transforms a child. Time and again we have seen across the world, how the transformation of a single individual has led to a ripple effect, ultimately spearheading the transformation of a nation.
The history of the world is actually the history of few people who had faith and trust in themselves. A school is a ‘world in miniature’ where one receives ‘training for life’, where effective, meaningful and joyful learning takes place. It is here, where our life’s lesson is learnt—-to accept challenges, face competition, defeat and failure, rejoice at victory and triumph.
We, at KV No 2, Sohna Road Gurugram are whole heartedly committed to provide an education which has balanced ingredients of academics, sports, moral- values and co-curricular activities in view of National Education Policy 2020. The Vidyalaya is situated within the Air Force Station (AFS) on Sohna Road, near Rajeev Chawk, and is 1.5 Km away from mini secretariat ,Gurugram. It started in April 2003 in the Air Force Building with classes class I to VIII and an initial strength of 656 students. Over the years, the school has continued to grow, and it is now functioning with class I to X comprising two sections and a total strength of 832 students.
