Admission Process
Step 1: Inquire and Visit
- Begin by filling out the inquiry form and visiting the campus.
- Learn more about the curriculum, facilities and community.
Applications to ISH are submitted online through this link.
You will be asked to create a password so that you can log in. Within the online application system, you must follow these 6 steps:
1. Complete the online application form. Please make sure you fill in the information on all the fields in the various forms on the application.
2. Upload school reports from the past two years (and English translations where applicable). High school applicants must include transcripts from grade 9. All school reports should be collated into one single PDF file.
*For students diagnosed with learning support or special education needs: upload psycho-educational reports and ILPs/IEPs (and English translations where applicable).
3. Upload a copy of the applicant’s and parent's passport, and Indian visa if the applicant is not an Indian citizen.
4. Upload a copy of the applicant’s birth certificate and applicant’s immunization record.
5. Send the Admissions Character Reference form to the Curriculum Leader/Coordinator/Head of Department/Principal of the current school of the child to fill this form. This is done within the online application process where you will find instructions.

Step 3: Pay the registration Fee
You will be prompted to pay the one-time non-refundable registration fee.
Step 4: Admissions meeting and review
An admissions meeting will be scheduled with the divisional principals and counsellor. Following which the admissions committee which comprises of the divisional principals, counsellor, admissions director and Head of School will review the application, and meet the applicant and the family.

Step 5: Admissions Decision
The admissions committee makes the final decision on acceptance. The admissions team will inform you of the decision via an official email and if your child has been accepted, you will be asked to pay the enrolment fee within 7 working days.

Welcome to the International School of Hyderabad (ISH). This website will give you a glimpse into the vibrant school life experienced here by our students, parents, and faculty.
Under the trusteeship of The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), our beautiful purpose-built campus is nestled within the 3,500 acres of the ICRISAT campus. Given this extraordinary environment and the wonderful climate of Hyderabad, much on-campus learning takes place beyond the classroom walls, allowing for a unique and enriching learning experience.
As a parent who raised two daughters abroad, I know first-hand how significant it is that you choose the right school placement for your child. School becomes your child’s home away from home, the center of his or her social world, and the environment where she or he learns to function independently. Each day I interact with students new to our school and others who have been here many years. One of my favorite sights is the first-day welcome our students give to new joiners. Friendships with peers and relationships with teachers are quickly made at ISH.
We delight in providing our holistic academic and co-curricular programs on our beautiful campus each day for all students. We are optimistic that this will continue in the future, but should there ever be a need to return to online learning for a period, I am proud to be able to promise that ISH will fulfill its mission whether the learning happens on campus or online. About Us
The main ICRISAT campus stretches for 3,600 acres with the school campus spread over 10 of those acres. Being located on the ICRISAT campus provides ISH students with extraordinary access to nature and most unusual learning environments, with science labs, a museum, a medieval fort, and a weather station. The school campus houses science laboratories, music rooms, a library, art rooms, language rooms and multiple outside areas for learning and exercise. Facilities at ISH includes football fields, a cricket pitch, an outdoor covered area (for basketball and other activities) and a indoor, air-cooled multipurpose gym (basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc). The ICRISAT campus offers opportunities for other outdoor pursuits including a swimming pool, tennis courts, cross country running and cycling.
