- Admission to all classes is strictly on the basis of test and Interview. Age limit for Nur. Shall be 3.5 Years in April (The year in which admission is asked for)
- The standard of written test shall be that of lower class to which candidate is seeking admission.
- Parents shall be interviewed after the child qualifies the test.
- For those coming from other schools a much higher percentage will be required, in order of merit depending on the number of seats available after admitting the eligible students of the school. They should apply with a copy of marksheet and a character certificate.
- The Principal reserves the right to admit or refuse admission to anybody without assigning any reason for his action.

Withdrawal
- Two months notice on two months fee in lieu thereof is necessary in case a parent wants to withdraw his/her ward from the school.
- For withdrawal of transport facility one month's notice is necessary.
- The following categories of pupil's may be required to be withdrawn from the school (Not necessarily notifying the cause to the parents).
- Those who fail to show satisfactory progress and are unwilling or unable to profit from the educational programme of the school.
- Those whose fees are in arrears.
- Those whose behaviour in the opinion of the Principal is harmful to the interests of the school.

The Lucknow wing of DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL is directly managed by DAV Central Management Committee, New Delhi. Spread in a sprawling and lush green campus, the school is centrally located in one of the largest residential colony of the City-Indira Nagar having connectivity and access through Ring Road on one side and Faizabad Road on the other.
The branch has a well developed infrastructure in place with facilities like AC& IT enabled Classrooms, Qualified and Dedicated faculty, a Preparatory Wing with FUNZONE with Audio Visual Aids for Toddlers and Playgroup kids, a Computer Lab, Science Lab, Well stocked Library & Smart Class.
