Parents want their children to grow healthy and fit. And height is a part of the growth process. Though the height of a child depends on the genes of parents. But external factors like diet and exercise also influence the height of the child. 


And here are few simple ways through which your child can become taller. 


1. Healthy diet- The diet that has vitamins, carbs, fat, and proteins in a balanced amount is a must for your child. It will maintain the overall health of the child and ensures a good height as well.

 
2. Stretching exercises- Simple stretching exercises can have an impact on the height of your child. 


3. Hanging- Hanging from the bars in the playground is important for the child. So encourage your child to do push-ups and chin-ups. All this will help in the elongation of the spine. 


4. Yoga poses- Asanas like Surya Namskara and Chakara will make your child taller as they help in spine elongation. 


5. Skipping- Skipping helps in increasing height and it is nice for the overall health of your child. 


6. Posture- A parent should make sure that their child should sit in a proper posture. Poor posture can alter the shape of the spine that will result in compromise with growth. 


7. Swimming and Cycling- It is important to get your child involved in such activities as they help a lot in the growth and affects height as well.
