Decorating a nursery can be a fun project for the parents. There are so many things to decide, from colors, a bed to toys. But there are a few nurseries decorating mistakes that parents should avoid. So, let’s have a look at them. 


1. The canopies- Canopies and curtains are a part of the social media trend. But it is best to avoid them, as they can cause suffocation to the baby. Also, the excess fabric can result in blocking natural light for the baby. 
2. The heavy wall decorations- The artwork, mirrors, or any heavy decorations can fall from the wall. Thus, it is better to keep these things away from your baby. 
3. Unsecured furniture- Unsecured furniture can be hazardous for your child. The easy access to hangnails, loose corners, or bad wood can be dangerous for your child. 
4. Too many pillows- The experts advise not to put too many pillows around your child to avoid the risk of sudden infant death syndrome. They recommend that babies should not sleep with a pillow until they turn two. 
5. Candles – Parents should never keep scented candles in their baby’s room. As they can let out toxic fumes. 
6. Fairy lights- The babies might put the fairy lights in their mouth and choke on the,m. Thus, it is better to keep them away from your little ones. 
7. Clutter- Clutter can make your baby slip on the floor. So, parents should make sure that the room is clean and tidy.
