The reports regarding the new school curriculum encompassing around “deshbhakti” are to be submitted by next month, by the panel of AAP government officials. The work on a new education board of Delhi had already been started last year.

According to Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, the new curriculum would strive for enabling that “deshbhakt” within students up to the age of 14 years. It is so designed to provide a diversity of knowledge to children in the age group of 3 to 8 years. The new education system would mainly focus on studies regarding the issues of discrimination based on caste, gender, integrity, etc.

The panel is also working on a new-age assessment system focusing more on the overall growth of students than the academic score. The system is being designed to provide an all-around progress report of students to their parents employing effective use of technology.
