As the number of COVID-19 cases is increasing in Delhi, parents of children attending schools in Delhi have welcomed the government’s decision to keep schools closed till further notice.
The deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia on Wednesday announced that all schools in the national capital would continue to be closed till further orders in view of COVID-19 pandemic. He also added that parents were not in favour of reopening school either.

However, on Tuesday Delhi reported 4853 new coronavirus cases, the national capital’s biggest ever single-day jump in cases. Keeping in view of the situation, parents are not ready to send their children to school yet is also evident from low attendance at school in Noida in UP.
