Mumbai Govt. Reverses Ban On Online Education For Pre-Primary To Class II

GR has been released on Tuesday permitting online learning for pre-primary to class II. It says that classes for pre-primary grades can be conducted on weekdays for 30 minutes, whereas for grades I-II, two sessions of 30 minutes each can be conducted on weekdays

On June 15, State SED had banned online learning till Class II, referring to the bad effects of "Screen-time". Now, the govt. has reversed its ban.

The GR states that 15 minutes should be utilized for interaction with parents, out of the total time and another 15 minutes should be devoted for activity-based learning of the students.
