With the aim of honing the dance skills of students, Jhankaar - Inter House Dance Competition 2021 was organized by Raghav Global School, Noida on 2nd September 2021, for students of Grade 9 to 12.

The topic was 'Fusion' where all vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances. Dressed beautifully the young dancers were thrilled to be a part of this colourful, vibrant and energizing event.

Students from all four houses participated in the competition. The judges of the competition were Ms. Soubhagya Venu Gopal (Guest Judge) Sangeetha Prabhakar, a renowned Bharatnatyam dancer from Tanjour University Tamil Nadu,  Mr. Sumit Kumar, dance teacher of the school and Ms. Sweta Raghav, Senior wing Academic Coordinator.

The time allotted to the students was 3-4 minutes. The parameters on which the students were judged were choice of song, choice of dance form, creativity and originality, expression and musicality (follow the rhythm and tempo of the music). The students’ excitement was evident with applause and appreciation.

Kashish Chaudhary from Kanishka House got the first position followed by Tushika Joshi and Swali Tripathi from Pratap and Kanishka house respectively. The Principal of the school, Ms. Richa Sharma congratulated the winners and appreciated the performance of the children. Ms. Richa Sharma also encouraged the students to participate in more such competitions to enhance their talents.
