Parents protest against fee hike at a school in Greater Noida

The coronavirus pandemic has caused a major hindrance to the education sector by pushing the students and teachers within the walls of their homes. Everybody hoped for things to get better this year, but alas, all we got is another corona wave.In this situation, people are suffering to even tolerate their jobs while having the pressure from the educational institutes challenging full fees even in lockdown. The parents of the students of Ursuline Convent School, Greater Noida protested against the increase in fees on Monday. The parents suspected that the school management has increased the fees during the corona pandemic.

There are also orders from the District Magistrate to not increase fees for session 2021-22. When we tried to contact parents, they were very reluctant and did not want to come forward.
