UP Government schools for Classes 1 to 8 to reopen from July 1, students no allowed

Uttar Pradesh Government yesterday declared its decision to reopen schools for classes 1 to 8 from July 1. The schools, however, would only be opened for teachers and students would not be allowed to appear the schools. No conclusion has been taken for students of classes 9 to 12 as yet. While no students are allowed even for these schools, the decision on whether to call teachers and managerial staff to school campus from July 1 rests with the SMC.It may be notable that the neighboring states of Delhi and Haryana have not decided to reopen the schools as yet.

Delhi Government had proclaimed that schools would not open for students till further orders. Haryana Government has also prolonged the summer vacation till June 30. 

As per the notice released by the Uttar Pradesh Basis Education Board, UPBEB Secretary Pratap Singh Baghel, the teachers would complete the work related to student admissions, distribution of food security grant as per for mid-day meal scheme as well as distributing the free books to the students.
