Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ in a tweet said that CBSE board exam 2021 dates will be announced on December 31, replying to that tweet students have asked for more time. Some students say they haven't finished the syllabus yet, while some say the exams should be postponed to April-May. In his last live session, Mr Pokhriyal said he will confirm CBSE class 10 and CBSE class 12 board exams on 31 December and mostly the exams will be held after February 2021.

On social media, Mr Pokhriyal wrote, “I will announce the date when the exams will commence for students appearing for #CBSE board exams in 2021. Stay tuned.”

“Sir please delay our board examination till March because our syllabus is not completed properly,” a student said.

The education minister mentioned that the decision will be based on a thorough assessment of the situation. While on the other hand, most of the schools have already been conducting the preboard exams online to prepare the students, yet there is no clarity with the exam dates.
