While addressing the teachers during a live session on 22nd December, the Education Minister declared that the coming CBSE board exams will be conducted in offline mode. 

Considering the difficulties students face whereas availing online classes in remote areas, it'll be tough for the scholars to require online exams, Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal mentioned.  The Minister asked teachers to join the webinar and share their issues through #EducationMinisterGoesLive. The live interaction of the teachers and Mr Pokhriyal was broadcasted via the Education Ministry’s Twitter handle and Facebook page.

Mr Nishank also informed that the coming 2021 CBSE class 10 board exams and CBSE class 12 board exams won't be conducted until February 2021. A choice relating to the CBSE 2021 test dates is taken by the government late, he added.

He declared that JEE 2021 is conducted in four sessions throughout the year. Relating to 2021 board exams, Mr Nishank said that if students cannot visit their schools to do lab work, alternatives to such exams can be explored.
