CBSE has extended the deadline for submission of fees for the 2021 board examinations. The move comes after the Delhi Government had written to it. In a letter, the Government stated that many parents had lost their jobs because of the pandemic. Many schools also faced problems in completing the List of Candidates (LOC) appearing for the 2021 examinations.

The deadline for submission of LOC for classes X and XII 2021 board exams without late fees was 15 October, now it has been extended to 31 October and with late fees has been extended from 1 to 7 November.

The Delhi Government had earlier written to CBSE requesting a waiver in the fees. However, CBSE denied the request. As per the Delhi Government, many organizations came forward to help the students who are unable to pay the fees after that. That is why the Delhi Government requested the extension of the deadline.
