After over 39,000 students of the School of Open Learning and a few regular college students missed the December 5 deadline for filling up their examination forms, Delhi University has opened up a window for them. However, it will also hold the examinations from this Saturday despite objections from some students. SOL has 1,41,298 students who are eligible to appear for the blended online open-book exam from December 12.
DU dean of exams D S Rawat told TOI that the university had extended “the dates for the form fill-up by a few more days”, but would hold the examinations from December 12. “Students should be a little more serious as we have been sending them information on time and multiple reminders,” he added. Rawat said most students had mailed the university the reason for not being able to meet the deadline. “They all either claimed that they didn’t check their emails or had forgotten about the last date.”
