A co-educational institute affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), SPG International School, Bhosari was established in 2010. The school embraces a more holistic approach to education, striving to strike a balance between academic rigour and co-curricular exploration. Our students are provided multiple avenues to discover their innate talents.
Mission:
Learning is a lifelong process, and all students and teachers are challenged to exceed their own expectations. Our aim is to provide high quality education to every child who is entrusted in our care. This is a holistic experience that promotes the growth of mind, body and spirit. We nurture and prepare individuals who will go on to become the torchbearers of tomorrow. We wish to instil in them a level of self confidence to believe in the strength of their own convictions and take pride in being themselves. They will work together to become responsible global citizens and create a better society.
Pedagogy:
At SPG International, we take a child-centric approach that encourages a sense of purpose, self-assuredness, confidence and acceptance by creating spaces for children to be themselves and be heard by others.
Life skills will promote adaptive and positive behaviour that will enable our students to deal effectively with the challenges of every day. It will inculcate decision-making in them. It hones the skill to think fast and adapt to odd situations that one might encounter throughout their life. Hence, life skills education is a quintessential to our student-centred curriculum.
Classroom learning goes a little beyond the CBSE curriculum. We incorporate various programmes that nurture emotional and physical development so that each and every kind of learner can adapt to the classroom.
The assessment and reporting system incorporates both qualitative and quantitative feedback so it highlights the students’ weaknesses in a way that teachers and parents can help the child overcome these obstructions.
