In order to spread awareness about the environment, students in Moradabad tied Rakhis on trees. Their unique trend was followed by unique Rakhis, which had messages written on them like ‘Save Trees, Save Life’ and ‘Save Environment’.

Pushpanjali Singh, a student said, “With the rise in population, the trees are being chopped down. It is our responsibility to protect these trees and it helps our environment,” she also added, “Raksha Bandhan is known as a sign of protection. Likewise, we want to protect the trees as they do the same for us.”

These students were successful enough in spreading their message on the special day of Raksha Bandhan which signifies the bond between brothers and sisters.
