M. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India expressed his disappointment with the falling reading habits in children at “Times Scholar Event” while addressing more than 200 young participants.
He said, “All of you are young and need to develop a strong emotional quotient and the ability to weather ups and downs in life.” He further added, “Never be satisfied with the status quo. Always set higher benchmarks and create new and better systems wherever you go.”
He advised the students to learn the ability to differentiate between fake news and correct information, worry less about situations that are beyond control by practicing yoga, and to understand and come up with solutions for problems like climate, poverty and many more faced by the world.
