Like many other states, the Uttarakhand government has also decided the closure of schools and other educational institutions till January 31.
All institutions, including schools, colleges, and Anganwadi Centres will remain closed due to the COVID-19 condition in the country.
“In a letter dated Jan 22, Uttarakhand Govt extends COVID restrictions in the state till January 31. All Anganwadi Centres and educational institutions up to 12th standard to remain closed, online classes to continue” ANI tweeted.
This comes after the state government had earlier ordered the closure of all educational institutions till January 22. Uttar Pradesh had also made the same announcement however, both the states now have extended it till January 30.
There is no certainty as to when offline classes will start in Uttarakhand, due to imposing lockdowns and curfews state-wide. However, online classes continue to be taking place.
